Robert E. "Bob" Delescale9/21/ 1948 ~ 5/10/2011Resident of CampbellDelescale, Robert Edward "Bob", 62, after an all too brief battle with cancer. Born Sept 21, 1948 in San Mateo. Died May 10 in Campbell. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Linda (Voisinet) Delescale. Bob was predeceased by parents Jean Edouard and Mary Jeanne (Marsala) Delescale. Bob is survived also by sister Jean Ann (Arnold Birr) of Kentucky, brother Richard Leland Delescale of Belmont, niece Dennean Michelle (Gerros) and great-nephews Kailin, John and Alexander Lockhart.Bob retired two years ago after 41 years of driving a school bus for various transportation companies and school districts. But, as he always said, that was his day job! His passion was being a radio DJ/Engineer (Bob Daniels) and collecting music and audio equipment. Viewing at Alameda Family Funeral Home Saturday May 14th 3 - 9 pm, with a Rosary Vigil at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass Monday, May 16th at St. Thomas of Canterbury, Campbell 10 am. My memories are actually about the family. They lived down the street from us. His dad was a policeman in Belmont, his mom, I believe had a position in school administration at Carlmont. One day Officer Delescale followed his wife onto the campus parking lot and gave her a ticket.
