Tom was one of the first people that I met when moved from Tucson to San Carlos. One day while at the Beer Hall at Ft. Lewis in 1968, I heard a shout out and looked to see Tom. We were both in AIT Training though Tom was a few weeks ahead in another trianing cycle! Spent several weekend passes in Seattle and playing Basketball at Ft. Lewis gym together. He went to Nam about a month before me and the Last time I saw him was late 70's! Heckuva Nice Guy!
Jim Pierce
Tom's brother, Jim, passed away in June 2014 from a stroke. He was a good friend as was Tom.
